Yousef live at the WHP Manchester

Yousef started 2012 in breath-taking fashion by joining a celebrated cast to kiss goodbye to the Warehouse Projects’ five year reign in Store Street. Alongside Derrick Carter, Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles and Tiger & Woods, Yousef contributed a show-stealing set of upfront house and techno, peppered with timeless classics including his own edit of Stevie V’s ‘Dirty Cash’. The tweets below spotlight the feedback proffered from the dancefloor and the WHP management, with supremo Sacha remarking that the set was the best on the night. The set is now available for download on Soundcloud - the only one to have been recorded that evening - serving as a lasting legacy of the event that has revolutionised clubbing in the twenty first century. It’s also a compelling statement of intent for Yousef, who intends to build on the strident steps taken forward in 2011 to make 2012 his most productive year to date. http://soundcloud.com/yousef/yousef-live-warehouse-project
