The Playground prepare for their first show of the year this May at London's The Coronet, bringing with them a hefty bass and dubstep representation, an unapologetic barrage of sound system offense for the crank-it-to-eleven enthusiast.
Headliners will include A-trak, an artist that has spread himself all over the shop in his short years, initially breaking through as a DMC champion at just fifteen, going on to launch his own label Fool's Gold, generating a string of impressive remixes for big names and becoming the touring DJ for the likes of Kanye West. At just 19 years old, Porter Robinson is widely appreciated as one of the most exciting up and comers of the electro and bass scenes, touted as one to watch by a range of dance music's biggest artists.
French Ed Banger stalwart SebastiAn is also amongst the names topping the bill as well as live drum and bass act Dirtyphonics, known for their relentlessly high octane performances. Further names to watch out for on the bill are Dillon Francis, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, DJ Captain Crunch, Killsonik and Skism.
