D'Julz - Just So You Know

This one's really worth a good few listens: after an initial spin I was digging the original and not feeling too much love for the 2000 and One remix. A few replays later and I've changed my mind completely: the remix has a subtle but undeniably funky edge which sets it light years ahead.
The whole package is pretty unassuming: no driving hook to bellow into your mobile phone in the taxi home, but instead a kindy of creepy screaming sound that you'll remember just as well. 2000 and One really do carve a funky groove out of a pretty rigid original - it's not that
the A side is lacking, it just seems to crave a little of the production subtlety that the remix throws in.

All in all, an instantly likeable track with a remix that rewards persistence: easily worth a few squids in my book.
