Mulletover's Geddes and Audiofly team up once again for this new track. Some People is intelligent and danceable at the same time. But this is deep, especially in its original format. There are some nice underlying sounds and the nagging bassline carries it throughout but I just can’t get on with the spoken vocal.
The Daniel Stefanik mix does a good job at taking the interesting parts of the original and tying them into a track that flows much better by adding some nice synth melodies and paying close attention to detail in the arrangement. But it’s not really until 5 minutes in when it gets going and even then the energy drops off quite quickly. If you are a proper "monster from the deep" purist you’ll like this. I prefer a little more impurity.
