One of Timo’s biggest singles yet, this is a classy beast that echoes his love of classic progressive house, Balearic flavours and the more melodic side of house music. It’s smooth, uncluttered and seductive, with Amber’s vocals ranging from mellow and sultry to powerful and impassioned.
Matt Lange goes for a blend of mini-tech bouncing beats and proggy, dark trance chords and stabs on his version. The large pumping builds promise much but are ultimately just a tease to drop you back into rolling, subdued prog. A good set-builder, basically, and one with which the vocals are nicely integrated and allowed to shine.
The talented Solee goes deeper yet with his clunking techy rumble and filtered stabs, while the vocals are held at bay for a while before creeping in subtly in the hypnotic, heads down breakdown. Moody and cool with a bit of a tribal undertone to it, it’s an exercise in simplicity that is pretty sexy. Throbbing and saucy.
