Andy Tau first came to prominence with The Path which was released on Infrasonic a couple of years ago. He’s also released and remixed for the likes of Neuroscience, Alter Ego, Emotive Vibes, Soup and Bonzai.
The original mix features a chugging bass, filtered percussion and a mournful electro melody which gradually thaws as the melodic layers increase. A piano sequence offers an icy blast before the rippling lead synth takes over at the break. This is an emotive almost poignant track with lots of depth.
Based in Haslev, Denmark, Mads Kiholm provides a slamming remix. Upping the tempo, the track has punchy effects, a powerful kick and more uplifting layers from the start. The break is a joy, with the twinkling piano ushering in the cascading harmonies and smooth summer time melodies. Expect to hear this out and about for months to come.
Finally another of Infrasonic’s talented roster, Juventa, Dutchman Jordin Post, ups the ante even further transforming the track into a driving tech edged monster. There are lots of dark little effects, techy percs before the core melody shines through.
