This latest EP on Metalheadz comes from Rido and Hybris. A relatively new collaboration, these producers have stepped things up, and now find them selves on the legendary Metalheadz, with their Prague Connection EP.  First Contact - offered up byboth of the producers - and it's a darky, techy affair. Boasting a stuttering beat and awkward bassline,  it sets the tone for the rest of the EP.

After an epic intro, with meandering chords and delicate sound effects, Rido's'Focus' builds into a stomping dancefloor track. With a hard hitting beats and a huge bass, the production and atmosphere here lends itself to comparisons with Noisia.

In contrast to the other tracks, 'Please Exist' by Hybris features a upbeat feel, featuring soulful vocal snippets that give way to a massive bass. A nice rolling number, it's pyrovides a nice variation to the release.

Memento see's Rido and Hybris return to drum and bass's primodial beginnings. Amens feature throughout, and a return to basics provides a nice end to this futuristic EP.  This EP is a technically accomplished, more precise take on the classic Metalheadz sound, but it still features lashing of the label's bass and atmosphere.
