Joy Kitikonti - Joyenergizer 2009 (DJ Choose remix)

Originally released in 2001 and remixed again in 2005, Danish hard-trancemaster DJ Choose brings the Joy Kitikonti anthem back to life with a bang in ‘09. This excellent remix of a hard trance classic retains all the harsh riffs that make the original so memorable, while bolstering the percussion, adding some nice techy edges around the bass, and retaining all the energy and focus on the tough acid infused riffs.
 
Other subtle touches are added which bring the track into 2009, with a squelchy, gushing breakdown tweaked to give it a contemporary feel while building on the qualities of the original release. This boshing bomb is sure to cause dancefloor mayhem in an instant. Could this be the first anthem of the new year? I bloody hope so!
