Gabriel & Castellon - Ticoba

Sexy throbbing house from this presumably Spanish duo that’s perfect for the summer season. Taut beats punch away under a moaning, rolling bassline while classically-styled techy stabs bash away in a monotone fashion, making for a cool, heads down kinda vibe. The break yields a more old skool techno / rave feel with heady stab melody and lashes of organ, smacking back down into a sexy tribal-esque shimmy that Roger Sanchez should be all over.
 
Prok & Fitch inject a bit more of a wiggling techy groove into the percussion but take away some of the melody so it’s a more monotone affair. Nice vocal edits though. Bachus & Singel’s mix isn’t hugely different if you really take a step back and put things in perspective – meaning that it’ all about the original here.
