Inexc & Matt Tolfrey - Bring It / Jerk

These two have made a fine line in wiggly minimal funked-up techno over the last few years, so its almost disappointing to see them turn to the housey vogue. Bring It is decent enough percussive deep house in the European fashion, with a nice techy surprise towards the end.
 
It’s all about Jerk on the flip though – a big-bottomed slice of snappy tech house that should be all over the cooler dancefloors this summer. Often you think these kinds of contemporary tribal-tinged tech house stompers are getting a bit formulaic and that, but when they are this fucking sexy who really gives a shit? This is DANCE music after all. Stick your IDM up your arse along with your head. What to say? Rolling bongo rhythms, trippy vocal snippets, that lovely big warm bass that’s all the rage at the moment, and skippy hats galore. Summery, exotic. Like Michel Cleis? Love this.
