D. Ramirez returns with new EP
One of the UK’s most talented electronic producers D. Ramirez returns this May with
The Wired EP on his own Slave Recordings – the first of a series of EPs to be released every 6 weeks.
The title track is a winner, very Format B, with its cheeky, infectious minimal techno with a party attitude stylings, while the flip
Road To Excess (originally made for his Azuli
Headliners compilation) is another tasty thumper. Robert Babicz delivers a deep, rolling, protracted version of
Wired, while Ramirez remixes himself on
Road To Excess. Both tracks feature a mysteriously anonymous star (we’re told) called LDV on vocals, who is apparently also from Ramirez’s home town of Sheffield.
The EP is out on May 25
