Cocoon art exhibition in Frankfurt

Frankfurt-based artist Andreas Gursky has created a new project for the city's Museum of Modern Art which has images inspired by Cocoon parties as the inspiration for its centrepieces.
The concept was developped by Sven Väth along with with the 3deluxe designagency, along with Gursky, whose previous projects have included subjects like Formula 1 and land reclamation in Dubai. Since the mid-'90s, he has been using techno and the techno scene as an inspiration, such as the legendary Mayday events that took place in Dortmund from 1994 to 2005.
