OceanLab album finally unveiled
After denting the Top 20 with the Radio 1 A-listed Satellite, and scoring big club hits with Clear Blue Water, Sky Falls Down and Beautiful Together, Above & Beyond and vocalist Justine Suissa have now completed a full album of tracks together as OceanLab - Sirens Of The Sea.
They quartet holed themselves up in a villa in Ibiza to get the project finished, giving it an undeniably Balaeric tint, with hints of Zero 7 and Everything But The Girl mixing in with their classy brand of vocal trance.
"OceanLab has been a part of the Above & Beyond family since the very start" explains Tony McGuiness, one third of A&B. "Satellite is probably our most popular song when we DJ, even now, so it was only a matter of time before we did an album with Justine. With Tri-State out of the way we started writing for the album in earnest two years ago. Justine has a unique lyrical perspective and we've decided to make that centre stage as much as possible, so the album is again a very personal statement by us. We hope you like it!"
